Thinking of having a Home Birth?

At Derbyshire Doula we have a handful of different sized birth pools and birth pool equipment that you can hire for your birth.

In your home birth kit you get:

• A birth pool.
• Air pump.
• Water pump.
• Mirror.
• Thermometer.
• Sieve.
• Floor Mat.
• Torch.
• TENS Machine.
• Birth Ball.

For your home birth you will need to provide:

• Pool Liner.
• Hose.
  

What a birth pool will cost you.

At Derbyshire Doula, I believe that a home birth should be accessible to everyone and not behind a price barrier that not everyone can afford. This is why at Derbyshire Doula I decided that you pay what you feel is the right amount for you.

You donate any amount you want to help ensure that you get the birth you planned for.

Pools can only be hired to Derbyshire, Cheshire and High Peak area, why?

This is because the money that you donate for the birth pool goes back into the communities by supporting the midwives in the areas. The midwives are on the front lines helping mums, and being able to support them with your donation helps to show them just how much they are needed and how much they make a difference.

How does it work?

If you are planning for a home birth and are looking to hire a birth pool, please contact me via email or the facebook page as soon as possible.

I wil organise the kit and pool for you, which will be delivered to you 2 weeks prior to you due date.

I will organise a session with you (and partner) to go over homebirthing and how to setup the birth pool.

After your birth I will come and collect the pool and kit.
